About

I'm Victor. Cloud architect. Originally from Valencia, Spain, now based in Dublin, Ireland. I've spent more than 25 years designing and building enterprise systems -- from hybrid infrastructure to cloud-native platforms, from monolithic migrations to distributed architectures across multiple countries.

Architecture is the thread that connects everything I do. Good software without good architecture is nothing. And good architecture without security is worse. I've learned this the hard way: setting up governance boards, leading platform engineering teams, building internal developer platforms, and designing cloud landing zones for organisations where getting it wrong means real consequences.

My work covers enterprise architecture, cloud-native design, data platforms, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and more recently, AI-powered solutions within enterprise constraints. I've built everything from high-performance computing environments to private AI applications -- always inside the guardrails of real enterprise governance.

This blog exists because I want to share what I know. I'll write about cloud architecture, AI-assisted development, CI/CD, security, and the patterns that make complex systems work in production. Not theory -- things I've seen work (and fail) in real environments.

If you want to talk about cloud architecture, AI-assisted development, or just say hi, find me on LinkedIn.
